Gavin Lam

Gavin Lam is the chairman of Lynns Concepts, a houseware manufacturer with head office in Hong Kong, production facilites in China and offices in City of Industry and Europe. He is also the chairman of Pinewave Group which engages in the business of real estate development and construction in California.

Gavin came to this country and attended Vincennes University through a scholarship program by Dr. Chu. He graduated with honor from University of Pennsylvania in 1979 with bachelor degree in electrical engineering. He also attended economics program at the Wharton School of finance & commerce. While establishing his business in New York, he obtained his Executive MBA degree at Rutgers University.

Gavin also devotes time to serve on many boards of trade and non-profit organizations. He was the Vice Chairman of Yufu Manufacturers Association in China and committee member of CPPCC of Jianghai, Jiangmen.

Lynns Concepts (formerly Alliance Trading Co., Ltd.) was founded in 1963, supplying ceramic tabletop items to local and western countries. Following the establishment of its manufacturing facility, Xinxing Alliance Stainless Steel, in China, the company also started its cookware business in 1991. AXA is a joint venture of Lynns Concepts, Xingxing and Alva (a company specializes in manufacturing of cookware) with the objective to develop innovative and high-quality OEM/ODM products. Gavin also serves on the Board of AXA.
